I saw this book at Barnes and Noble that was about creating new things out of an old pair of jeans. "I should make a bag out of some jeans. That'd be super awesome. :3" I said to myself. I looked online for a good pattern to do this, but the only thing I could find was the how-to for making a bra out of a plastic bag, and THAT was not what I needed. Alas, I supposed I'd just have to buy that book for a good pattern. But a week or so later, I saw this woman at church that had a jean bag that, although purchased, had such a spiffy, yet simplistic, design (and it wasn't like one of those giant butt pocket ones. Those are gross.) Then comes April break, and I felt motivated to make my bag. With my limited sewing expertise, I created a bag 99.9% on my own (my maja gave me some tips. Thanks, maja!) And voila! I made the shoulder bag I always wanted, and it looks pretty darn... pretty. :D
